Our Mission

Youth Invest is a pro-youth and feminist-oriented organisation promoting the youth and women’s sustainable socio-political, cultural, economic and environmental development in Matabeleland North. Established in 2018, Youth Invest conducts community mobilization and advancement of Economic, Social and Cultural (ECOSOC) rights of youth and women through knowledge management and capacity building on the following thematic areas:

YI’s work is centred on synergy effort through collaborating with the public and private sector players and other Non-Governmental Organisations at local regional and international level.

Our Objectives

• 1. To enhance the youth's meaningful participation in socio-economic and political issues in Zimbabwe.
• 2. To promote the protection and advancement of social, economic and cultural rights for youths and marginalized communities.
• 3. To promote the effective participation of youth in tourism, environmental conservation and natural resource governance.
• 4. To inculcate a culture of fairness, self-determination and inclusion of girls and women in household, community and national decision making processes.
• 5. To mainstream the adoption of new technologies in promoting holistic youth development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
